A 5km charity walk organised by Multifleet Vehicle Management has raised £500 for the Sport 4 Life UK charity.

Sport 4 Life UK helps young people into jobs through mentoring, employability guidance and sports sessions.

Multifleet, which trades as runyourfleet and is based in Solihull, invited its staff, their families and friends to join the walk.

Around 30 walkers took part, including staff from Prime Accountants of Solihull, UBC of Henley in Arden and some of the runyourfleet team.

Joanna Lees, marketing and PR manager at runyourfleet, said: “It was fantastic to bring the team together for our 5k charity walk in support of Sport 4 Life UK.

“Starting from our office and finishing with drinks, nibbles and networking gave everyone the chance to not only get active for a great cause but also spend time connecting as a team.

“The weather was on our side, and by the time we set off at 6pm, the heat had eased, making it a really enjoyable evening.

“Most importantly, it was a brilliant opportunity to support the valuable work Sport 4 Life does in helping young people build brighter futures.”

Rob Wells, chief operating officer at Sport 4 Life UK, said: “Thanks to everyone who took part in raising these funds to support our work with young people. It was a lovely evening with a real sense of community.

“Support like this allows us to invest directly in mentoring, skills development and confidence-building for young people, particularly within the Solihull community.

“We're really grateful to be working alongside runyourfleet as we help more young people take meaningful steps towards brighter, more secure futures.”
