Former MPs join webinar to discuss region's performance

Leading international communications agency, Grayling Birmingham, is hosting an online breakfast briefing with Grayling special counsel members, Richard Burden (pictured), ex MP for Birmingham Northfield and former shadow transport minister, and Baroness Nicky Morgan of Cotes, ex-cabinet minister and former MP for Loughborough.

The webinar will see the two former Midlands MPs unpick Grayling 's proprietary state of the region research, consider the challenges that lie ahead in the second half of 2023, and look ahead to a possible change of government in 2024.

The live webinar takes place on Wednesday, 26 July from 9:15 to 10:00am.

The first half of 2023 has been challenging for the Midlands as the cost-of-living crisis continues to bite. The local elections results and Grayling 's state of the region research has shown that people across the Midlands have lost faith in the Conservative government with Labour becoming the largest party of local government.
