Former Solihull Chamber president announced awards host
Solihull Chamber of Commerce have announced Tony Elvin as host for this year’s Solihull awards 2026.
Tony (pictured) is an active ambassador for the region and sits on the Solihull Chambers of Commerce exec team.
The former Chamber president is also chair for the Solihull BID and the Solihull Tourism Board Steering Group while serving on various boards and committees spanning retail, charity, community and hospitality.
Day to day, he is general manager for Touchwood shopping centre
Tony is an experienced event host compering company and industry conferences, and through his work with The Wine Events Company, delivering fun and engaging, wine events in theatres and cinemas across the region.
Tony said: “I am hugely excited to be hosting the upcoming Solihull Chamber Awards on 11th September; whilst this won’t be my first time hosting this prestigious event, it will be the first with a live audience.
“My last hosting stint was back in 2020 for our virtual Chamber Awards, as a last-minute replacement for BBC Radio WM’s Ed James, who’d tested positive for Covid the day before.”
“I’m hoping to avoid any such last-minute drama this time around on what promises to be a fantastic evening, celebrating the very best of Solihull.”
