Free lunchtime concert brings world music to The Hub
The Hub at St Mary's in Lichfield will host a free lunchtime concert as part of its Home at the Hub series, bringing world music to the venue's stage.
Iranian-British singer, songwriter and poet Mina Fatemi (pictured), a finalist on Channel 4's Your Song, will perform music exploring migration, longing and the meaning of home.
She will be joined by guitarist and multi-instrumentalist John Berry, co-producer of much of her music.
The Hub's creative director, Anthony Evans, said: “Our Home series of free lunchtime events is proving very popular.
“We're especially delighted to be bringing fabulous world music right into the heart of Lichfield.
“It's a great opportunity to discover something new - come and experience these amazing sounds for yourself.”
The concert is free to attend and no ticket is required, though capacity is limited on a first come, first served basis.
The Hub's coffee shop will be open before and after the performance.
The event is supported by Arts Council England.
