Disadvantaged children and families will be able to attend Solihull Moors games for free - thanks to the National League club 's corporate season tickets campaign.

With the new season just weeks away, the Solihull-based club are appealing for support for their Corporate Community Season Tickets Campaign run under the auspices of the Solihull Moors Foundation.

The Foundation supports hundreds of young people and families in the borough who experience barriers to watching match day football.

The Foundation database includes young people accessing wellbeing services, isolated older people, local residents living in hardship, young people with support needs, newly arrived families and children on free school meals.

Under the scheme, each tickets package costs £1,500 plus VAT, and includes four adult season tickets which will be handed out to individuals on the database.

The initiative sees the Foundation share the fixtures list pre-season and send an application document to those individuals. They can then apply for the games they would like to attend. Season tickets will be rotated to make sure that everyone gets a chance to see some action at Solihull Moors.

Lee Crofts, Solihull Moors Foundation 's community partnership manager, said: “The CCST project will open the doors to football for hundreds of fans who due to circumstances would struggle to watch a professional game of football. It will also be used as a pathway to build relationships to enable support to these families. ”

Businesses are urged to sign up for the package which include four season tickets providing access to each home game, two places in the Jerroms Suite will full hospitality for the game of choice subject to availability, an entry for one into the monthly 500 Club Draw and a signed Moors First-Team shirt. The companies ' support is also highlighted on social media and the club website.
