Funding available for innovative women

Applicants to the Women In Innovation Awards are in with a chance of receiving a £50,000 grant and business support from Innovate UK EDGE.

Innovate UK EDGE, as part of UK Research and Innovation, is offering up to 50 Women in Innovation Awards to female entrepreneurs across the UK.

The awards are for female founders, co-founders or senior decision-makers working in businesses that have been operating for at last one year.

Applications for these awards are open now until 11am on Wednesday 19 October.

Applicants must demonstrate they can make a significant contribution to pressing economic, societal or environmental challenges through their innovative project.

The competition is split into two phases - the first an assessment by independent experts and the second an interview with a panel.
