Future Faces launch social events to connect Staffordshire's young professionals
A launch event is set to take place next week as the Future Faces Chamber of Commerce (FF) prepares to expand and connect South Staffordshire's young professionals.
Young professionals from across Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock and Burton will gather at Walkabout in Lichfield on 30 September from 5:30pm.
The social will be the first of a series of quarterly socials across Staffordshire.
Young professionals in the area are encouraged to attend the event to network and meet members of the current Future Faces executive committee, including President Jaccy Datta who helps lead a diverse and talented collection of young professionals across Greater Birmingham.
Employers across a range of industries are also encouraged to engage with their future leaders and promote the importance of share experiences of living and working in the southern Staffordshire economy.
Chris Plant, director of the Burton and District Chamber of Commerce said: "The Future Faces division, linked to the Greater Birmingham Chamber, has its roots in Staffordshire and it is fantastic to launch this series of quarterly socials aimed specifically at young professionals from Burton, Cannock, Lichfield and Tamworth.
"The Young Professional award at our annual awards (taking place every January) has seen two deserved winners in recent years, with an encouraging number of young people putting themselves forward, as well as the area enjoying representation in the main Future Faces Awards event every August.
"It seemed a natural step to begin this series of socials to bring together business people between the ages of 18 and 35 and we look forward to welcoming professionals from across our districts next Wednesday and at forthcoming events."
