Future Faces has officially launched applications for a sixth cohort of its highly successful mentoring scheme.

The mentoring scheme supports members to develop their career skills and future business aspirations through one-to-one mentoring.

Participants are matched with a mentor and will meet once a month over a six-month period, either online or in person.

Applications open on 17 June 2026 and will remain open for one month, closing on 17 July 2026.

Those interested in becoming either a mentor or mentee can apply via the official application link.

Since its launch, the scheme has proven incredibly popular with members and the wider business community, with over 300 mentoring relationships created across previous cohorts.

The programme is now seeking mentors from a wide range of backgrounds, sectors and industries to support the next cohort of young professionals.

Mentors typically bring experience from areas such as finance, sales and marketing, start-up and entrepreneurship, education, third-sector, technology and innovation, and retail. There continues to be strong demand for mentors within the legal sector.

For mentors, the scheme provides an opportunity to give back to the Greater Birmingham business community, while also developing their own leadership skills and sharing valuable insight and experience with the next generation of professionals.

The mentoring scheme is now chaired by Nadia Johnstone-Smith, vice president of Future Faces Chamber of Commerce, who will lead the delivery of the sixth cohort alongside the mentoring committee.

As applications are received, the committee will work to carefully match mentors and mentees from a diverse range of sectors to ensure meaningful and impactful partnerships.

Nadia Johnstone-Smith said:“Mentoring provides an opportunity to build relationships and accelerate your own personal and professional development.

“We hope this mentoring cohort empowers our young professionals to believe in their potential, reach their goals, and develop into the best version of themselves.”

Applications to become a mentor or mentee are open until 17 July 2026.
