Future Faces partners with chosen charity for football fun day
Future Faces have announced they are partnering with their chosen charity, BYSA Foundation, for a charity fun day.
Future Faces are looking for 5-a-side teams to take part in a friendly football tournament and help them raise vital funds to support the youth development work of the BYSA Foundation.
The football tournament will take place on Wednesday, 2 July from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at the Ackers Adventure grounds in Birmingham, teams of 5-7 people cost £50.
Spectators can join for free to support and cheer on colleagues and peers but also take part in other activities provided by Ackers, such as Archery and Tubing (at a separate cost).
The event is open to members and non-members, with raffle prizes up for grabs throughout the event.
This event will be the last chance for Future Faces to work with BYSA until a new charity is appointed later in the year.
Sarah Griffiths, President of Future Faces, and Kasim Choudhry, honorary chair of Future Faces, said: "We are eagerly looking forward to the BYSA charity football match, which promises to be an incredible event that will bring our community together for a great cause.
“We anticipate a day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and camaraderie on the field. The benefits of this event will extend beyond the match itself, fostering stronger community bonds and providing valuable support to the BYSA initiatives.
“We are excited to see everyone come together and make this event a memorable success!"

BYSA Foundation was established in 2002 as a voluntary organisation and has received funding from a number of organisations in order to offer football coaching to young people aged 6-18 at Small Heath Leisure Centre every Saturday morning – from 10:30am-12:30pm.
BYSA now has a mentoring programme which has been designed for its 12–18 year old members, which has helped develop their academic and career prospects. In addition, BYSA has introduced an educational tutoring programme which supports students with English and Maths, to develop further their academic skills with voluntary tutors.
