Future Faces vice-president Will Crawford is among the speaker line-up for this week’s Wit & Grit Live event.

Will is the founder of wellbeing company quietnote and has long been mentored and supported by GBCC president Andy Dawson – Wit+Grit Live’s co-host - since launching the business.

Andy has not only helped Will to shape and grow his business, but has supported him through building his network, confidence and his approach to problems.

Earlier this year, Will was invited onto Andy Dawson and PJ Ellis’s podcast alongside his sister, Peggy Crawford.

The episode explored the similarities and contrasts between their careers - Will working in mental health and wellbeing, and Peggy as a professional poker player - with a focus on resilience, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking under pressure.

This Friday, Will is set to deliver a short 15-minute presentation on the practice of mindfulness through music, challenging common misconceptions around mindfulness and sharing practical insights into how people can build a healthier, more resilient mind and lifestyle grounded in this approach.

Will said: “It’s an honour to be included in the Wit & Grit Live speaker line up. From my experience, Wit & Grit focuses on genuine people and genuine stories, both Andy and PJ understand the importance of what it means to care for someone’s wellbeing and mental health, that’s why they’ve embedded practical advice and skills into the heart of their day.

“My talk will be focused on the innovative practice quiet note has been building for the last few years.

“I’ll be sharing how mindfulness can help to build our mental fitness and how music is the missing link for a lot of people really understanding how to build a mindfulness practice.

“A huge amount of my thanks goes towards Andy and PJ, Andy has long been a mentor of mine, and both continues to support my mission. It’s going to be a huge day."
