Future Faces vice-president ready for batonbearer role
As the Queen 's Baton Relay nears Birmingham city centre in time for the start of the Commonwealth Games this week, a vice-president of Future Faces Chamber of Commerce is preparing for her leg of the journey.
Sabah Hussain (pictured) was selected as a Batonbearer for the relay - and is set to begin her leg at around 8.55am tomorrow.
Her section of the relay will take place along the Chester Road in the Castle Bromwich area of Birmingham.
Sabah, a senior consultant at Moorhouse, has supported the development of young professionals in the region through her work with Future Faces.
She is charity board trustee of Birmingham & Solihull Women 's Aid and school governor of her old secondary school.
Sabah has fought against cultural boundaries and transformed her life by training in boxing and Muay Thai boxing for eight stepping into the ring on multiple occasions to continually challenge herself.
She is also an aspiring presenter and YouTuber, talking about topics on personal and professional development.
Sabah said: “I am incredibly excited to have this once in a lifetime opportunity to represent my hometown on such a momentous occasion.
“It 's going to be a great day soaking up the atmosphere! ”
