Garrick's season programme puts theatre back in full swing
Theatre is back in full swing as the Lichfield Garrick sets out a star-studded programme, the return of cinema and live screened performances, and a brand-new escape room this season.
The award-winning arts venue is adding a stunning line-up to their current programme of shows, many of which were cancelled and rescheduled due to the pandemic.
Famous faces such as Gardener 's World presenter Adam Frost, cricketing legend Sir Geoffrey Boycott, and ghost hunter Richard Felix are just some of the incredible names gracing the Garrick stage this season.
Classic comedy lovers can revel in the hilarious Fascinating Aida, be stunned by the resemblance of Ian Ashpitel & Jonty Stephens as Eric & Ern, and perhaps take a trip down memory lane with Dad 's Army Radio Show.
Music lovers will also be tapping their toes and clapping their hands at the incredible selection of musicians bound for the venue, including fan favourites Quill, Eurovision icons The Fizz, and the legendary The Drifters.
Some of the finest tribute artistes in the country hit the Garrick stage this season too, guarentted to have audiences singing their hearts out to ELO Again, The Bon Jovi Experience, and That 'll Be The Day, to name a few!
The #GarrickCinema has also reopened and will be streaming live performances and blockbuster movies once again. With a wide selection of titles including Disney 's Jungle Cruise, Northern Ballet 's Dangerous Liaisons, and Mick Fleetwood & Friends, there 's something to suit all ages and tastes.
With Pantomime season also on the horizon, the Garrick has a range of shows lined up.
For younger family audiences, there 's The Mince Pie Mice, a fun and festive interactive show perfect for little ones. Not to forget Santa's visit to the Garrick Grotto for the full Christmas experience.
For adults and older kids there 's a fun adaption of Dickens ' A Christmas Carol, and for the full Christmas experience, you can also visit Santa upstairs as he makes his annual visit to his Garrick Grotto.
