Get involved with Burton and Uttoxeter jobs fair
Businesses looking to recruit people from across the region are being invited to get involved with Burton & Uttoxeter Jobs Fair, organised by Kate Kniveton, member of parliament, at Burton Albion on Thursday 29 September.
There are a limited number of exhibition spaces left for businesses to be able to showcase themselves to potential employees, as well as advertising opportunities.
Burton & District Chamber of Commerce is delighted to be partnering the event alongside Burton Albion, Burton & South Derbyshire College, Department for Works and Pensions, East Staffordshire Borough Council and Trent & Dove.
Kate Kniveton (pictured) MP said: “I am pleased to be organising this Jobs Fair which is open to everyone - those looking for a job and those who are looking for a career change.
“Keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks, including businesses that will be showcasing jobs and apprenticeships available as well as timings of free transport to and from Uttoxeter, kindly being put on by Burton Albion Community Trust. Thank you to JCB and Unipart Logistics (part of Jaguar Land Rover group) for sponsoring this event and all our partners for their support.
President of Burton & District Chamber of Commerce, Shaun Gray added: “The Jobs Fair is a brilliant initiative that will put around 60 employers in one room for potential employees to meet and get to know about jobs and apprenticeships available. If your business has jobs available this is a great vehicle to meet the hundreds of people who we expect to attend who are looking for work or a career change. ”
