Global automotive company Holman is continuing its exceptional period of growth in the UK, exemplified by the official opening of its new office at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull.

The new site, complementing its current headquarters in Chippenham, has created 100 new jobs in the West Midlands, expanding its workforce to more than 300 employees.

The expansion into Solihull comes as Holman continues to win new business contracts, vastly increasing the number of vehicles it manages for clients ranging in size from SMEs to large corporate customers.

The new office has created 100 jobs so far, and the site has the potential to expand as more business wins are announced. Among the jobs created in Solihull are roles for maintenance technicians and customer service operatives.

Nick Caller, managing director of Holman in the UK, said: “Holman is continuing its extraordinary growth in the UK so we are delighted to have chosen Solihull as the location for our next strategic move.

“The West Midlands is historically a focal point for the automotive industry in the UK and the pool of talent relating to our industry is strong here.

“As a family-owned company, we thrive on an atmosphere of caring, fairness and transparency. Our people are our greatest asset and the key to our current and future success.”

The new office was officially opened by Holman President Bob White, who travelled over from Holman’s global HQ in New Jersey, USA – underlining the site’s strategic importance to the company. He was joined Rick Tousaw, Holman’s EVP of International Operations, and the Deputy Leader at Solihull Council, Councillor Karen Grinsell.

Cllr Karen Grinsell added: “Holman is the latest in a wave of innovative international companies that have been drawn to UK Central, which offers businesses a compact, central and globally connected location to grow. It was a pleasure to meet some of the team and I’m looking forward to seeing the company thrive in Solihull as it embarks on the next phase of its UK expansion journey.”
