An architectural tile manufacturer supplying to clients worldwide has been confirmed as the sponsor of Solihull’s unsung hero award.

The award will be presented during the upcoming Solihull Awards ceremony happening on Friday, 26 September.

Solus Ceramics has an extensive collection of tiles - carefully curated to bring a unique palette where every tile tells a story of innovation, design, and sustainability.

The firm was established in 1995 by founder Peter Bentley, driven by a passion for architectural ceramics and a commitment to exceptional service.

Supported by his wife Jane, they nurtured Solus from humble beginnings, gradually expanding and building a reputation for quality and reliability.

Through strategic partnerships with leading factories and collaborations with top architects, designers, and developers, Solus steadily grew.

The business is now headquartered in Solihull with showrooms in Birmingham, Manchester, and London.

They also supply architectural ceramics to projects around the globe.

Peter’s son, Marcus Bentley, now leads the company as CEO, ensuring the family values and dedication to excellence continue to drive us forward.

His son in law Ryan Bennett (pictured) has taken the reins as managing director.
