Global workplace supplier opens first UK showroom

Global workplace furniture supplier AJ Products has opened its first UK showroom in Hampshire.

The move marks the company's first physical space outside Austria and the Nordic and Baltic countries. 

AJ Products – a Birmingham Chamber member - say the opening is a direct challenge to the online purchasing model that has come to dominate workplace procurement.

The site, based at the Farnborough Aerospace Business Centre, houses two spaces designed to reflect how real workplaces function.

The office furniture showroom features ergonomic chairs, height-adjustable desks, meeting room furniture and storage solutions, while the warehouse and industrial showroom displays racking systems, shelving, lockers and workbenches at full scale.

Every product can be sat on, stood at and handled, giving visitors a direct sense of scale, construction and material quality that online browsing cannot provide.

The new showroom reflects a deliberate decision to give UK businesses the same in-person experience that has been available to customers across the Nordic and Baltic countries for years.

UK managing director Helen Beebe said: "We wanted to build something genuinely useful to businesses in the process of specifying their workspace.

This showroom exists because we believe businesses deserve to see and feel exactly what they are buying before they commit."

Visits are by appointment only and deliberately limited to ensure every visitor receives dedicated time from the AJ Products team. 

Appointments are available Monday to Friday.
