Government scheme to help firms boost skills and profits

Businesses are being urged to sign up to a government programme, which promises that firms can learn new skills, reach new customers and boost profits.

The Help To Grow scheme is offering organisations access to a range of management and digital programmes being delivered by leading experts, including the Small Business Charter.

The programmes will be delivered in June and in the autumn and is aimed at small and medium-sized firms.

Scheme organisers say that businesses which participate will receive an executive development programme, plus free online advice and money off software.
