Grace Cares supports Ukraine with fourth donation of vital care equipment
Lichfield-based social enterprise Grace Cares has sent its fourth donation of essential care equipment to support communities affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
The donation includes a range of mobility aids and daily living equipment that will help individuals who have been injured, displaced or left without access to vital care resources.
These items will provide practical support to those living with disabilities, older people and individuals recovering from injury.
Grace Cares operates a circular reuse model, collecting, redistributing and reselling quality pre-loved care equipment that might otherwise go to landfill.
While much of this equipment is reused within the UK, donations like this ensure that vital items can reach people in urgent need around the world.
This latest shipment marks the fourth time Grace Cares has supported Ukraine through donated equipment.
Hannah Montgomery, co-founder of Grace Cares, said: “Sending our fourth donation to Ukraine is incredibly important to us.
“We know that the need for essential care equipment remains significant and these items can make a real difference to people who have lost access to basic support.
“Something as simple as a walking aid or mobility equipment can help restore independence and dignity during incredibly difficult times.”
By extending the life of essential care equipment, Grace Cares is not only reducing environmental waste but also ensuring that valuable resources reach the people who need them most.
The organisation continues to work with partners and supporters to collect and redistribute pre-loved care equipment, ensuring it can create positive impact both locally and internationally.
