A Sutton Coldfield design agency has welcomed a new member to its team.

Adventure Graphics, based on the site of an old railway station in Midland Drive, have appointed Laurie Graves.

Laurie, a father of three from Lichfield, brings with him a wealth of graphic and web design experience, having worked for a number of high-profile brands and agencies.

He joins the Adventure Graphics team comprising creative director Warwick Kay, business development manager Penny Kay and graphic and web designer Dan Birch.

Warwick said: “It 's been great to have Lau. He 's fitted in so well and is very good at his job, so he has really been able to hit the ground running and has done brilliantly. ”

Laurie said: “Starting at Adventure has been fantastic; I wasn 't sure that I would find what I was ideally looking for, so I feel really grateful to have found Adventure.

“It 's been a great first few weeks, and I 'm excited about working on many more projects. ”

Adventure was established 30 years ago and has been run by Warwick since 2006.

Based on word-of-mouth referrals, working with local businesses and the community remains an important part of the firm 's ethos.

They take particular pride in helping new start-ups launch.

Most recently, Adventure worked with a local property company that gave a new lease of life to the listed Blackbrook Hall at Swinfen and helped a teacher realise her dream of opening Wild Blossom Studios online florist and gift shop.

“We are lucky to work with so many wonderful businesses, and it was really important to us that any new member of the team shared our passion for helping people and going that extra mile, ” Penny said.

“That 's why we wanted to be as flexible with our employees as we are with our clients. Covid definitely made us realise that we could work in different ways, and it 's been so nice to have Lau on board.

“Our clients already love his work and his attention to detail. It 's all worked out really well. ”
