Grenade adds new flavour to best-selling protein bar range

The UK 's best-selling range of protein bars from Solihull-based nutrition brand Grenade has just added a new Peanut Butter & Jelly flavour to its locker.

Packing 20g protein and just 1.8g sugar, the sweet treat is a healthier alternative to high sugar confectionery, with the added power of protein to keep fitness fanatics on track with their New Year 's resolutions.

Each bar is jam-packed with peanut butter-flavoured nougat and a gooey strawberry caramel layer, creating a sweet flavour combo.

With each PB&J bar also adding a generous sprinkling of peanut pieces - all smothered in magnificent milk chocolate - Grenade are striving to get healthy snackers pledging their allegiance to the brand in no time.

Qualified nutritionist and personal trainer Chloe Madeleysaid: “Grenade protein bars have been a personal favourite of mine for a long time now, and once you 've had one, you 'll understand why! It 's a protein bar that tastes as a good as a chocolate bar, but instead of being void of nutritional benefits, are packed with 20g whey protein (one of the best sources of dietary protein out there).

The bars are priced at £2.59 and available to buy from Grenade.com now, SPAR from 1 February, and Sainsbury 's from 4 February.
