Growing demand for extra large glazing driving Birmingham firm’s expansion
Demand for quality warehousing in Birmingham continues to be strong with competitive bidding required to single out a purchaser for a property in Manchester Street brought to the market by commercial property agents Siddall Jones.
The 5,412 sq ft property with an eaves height of 20 ft rising to 30 ft, was on the market for offers over £465,000.
It has been purchased by A&C Contracts Ltd, a specialist glazing installer in the commercial sector.
Director Mat Fenlon said: “We are seeing a high demand for structural glazing replacements. These new premises provide us extra capacity to service our clients nationwide.
“This warehouse on Manchester Street, that Ryan Lynch at Siddall Jones introduced us to, will be the new location of our UK central hub.
The firm is experiencing a huge increase in demand for its services and is currently looking to recruit more structural glass engineers and installers to add to the 15-strong team.

The property is situated on Manchester Street, off Newtown Row, close to its junction with New John Street West and is only 2.5 miles from Birmingham city centre. Its location just a few hundred yards from Dartmouth Circus provides quick and easy access to the A38(M) and the national motorway network at Junction 6 on the M6.
Snow Hill Metro and Train Station is also within walking distance.
