Sutton Coldfield-based marketing agency, EDGE Creative, is celebrating business growth after securing a raft of new business wins, and appointing a trio of new recruits.

EDGE Creative - an integrated marketing solutions provider - has hired two social media account managers and a digital marketing apprentice to help service existing clients and new accounts, which span the industrial, hospitality, professional services and social care arenas.

Sarah John and Shenell Lewinson are appointed as social media account managers to manage social campaigns for existing and new EDGE clients, while digital marketing apprentice Sophie Horrocks will provide support on campaign analysis and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).

As EDGE is committed to training and nurturing new talent, the agency also hired apprentice Ellena Yapp earlier this year.

Sarah, who holds a master 's degree in marketing from Durham University, is working on new account The Forest Hotel, incorporating The Butcher 's Social - a Dorridge-based independent hotel and restaurant offering for which EDGE was appointed to handle social media and public relations campaigns. She is also working with existing client Bravo Benefits, an employee benefits provider.

In addition to The Forest, other new account wins for the business include Parkview Care, a young person 's residential care home for which EDGE has developed a new website and video, and chartered accountancy firm Edwards.

The launch of new financial and property services consultancy ARMCO has been a major project for the agency, with EDGE employees existing and new getting involved in the activities, from brand and web development through to social media and PR campaigns.

Apprentice Sophie will be getting hands-on experience to complement her formal apprenticeship and build her knowledge in the marketing sector.

She said: “I 'm grateful to EDGE for giving me the opportunity to build gain valuable experience that will hopefully be the start of a great career with the agency. I 'm really enjoying getting involved in the day-to-day running of accounts across a wide range of industries. It 's great to get experience in both B2B and B2C campaigns. ”

The agency is also looking to grow the team further and is currently recruiting for a senior account manager role.

EDGE creative director Louise Panayides said: “After what has been a challenging time for many businesses over the last 18 months, we 're delighted to have been able to not only weather the storm but grow our business. These new hires will help us meet the content creation requirement that 's abundant right now. The demand for marketing services also indicates that the economy is bouncing back and we 're certainly seeing that with the firms we 're working with.

“It 's also a privilege to be able to nurture new talent, which is something we 're really passionate about at EDGE. Our apprentices, Sophie and Ellena, have our full support and benefit of our experience.

“Sarah 's extensive knowledge gained from her master 's degree is evident as she 's already capably managing many of our key accounts - and Shenell displays a real enthusiasm for developing compelling narratives on social media campaigns for our clients. We look forward to our new recruits forging long and fulfilled careers with us. ”
