Guide Dogs return as charity partner for The Belfry's British Masters
One of the UK’s leading sight loss charities, Guide Dogs has been named the Official Charity Partner of the Husqvarna British Masters - taking place at The Belfry - for a third consecutive time.
The tournament raised £168,000 through activations at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in 2025 and six-time Major champion Sir Nick Faldo, who hosts the Husqvarna British Masters for the fourth consecutive year, has again chosen Guide Dogs to be this year’s beneficiary as a charity close to his heart.
Founded in 1934, Guide Dogs is a charity that is almost entirely dependent on donations.
Tournament host Faldo said: “I am thrilled to welcome Guide Dogs back to the Husqvarna British Masters as the Official Charity again in 2026.
“It was great to learn more about the fantastic work Guide Dogs do over the past two years, and I am so grateful to everybody as we raised a huge £168,000 last year which makes a real difference to those living with sight loss in the UK.
“I’m looking forward to spending some time with the Guide Dogs team again this year and hopefully we can raise more vital funds during the Husqvarna British Masters.”
Andrew Lennox, CEO at Guide Dogs, said: “We’re delighted to once again be the official charity partner of the Husqvarna British Masters. Last year’s tournament raised an incredible £168,000 for Guide Dogs, helping us support people with sight loss to live the life they choose. As well as raising vital funds, the event shone a spotlight on the life-changing impact of our services, some of our amazing volunteers, and of course enabled people to meet our iconic dogs.
“We’re incredibly grateful to the DP World Tour, Husqvarna, and the fans and players for their continued support. Their commitment makes a real difference, and we’re looking forward to another fantastic tournament and the opportunity to build on the past two years’ success.”
This year's tournament will be the 23rd event held at The Belfry as part of Golf’s Global Tour, with the Sutton Coldfield venue first hosting the Lada English Golf Classic in 1979, won by the late Seve Ballesteros.
