Suzanne Mumford QN, head of nursing and dementia care for Care UK, will be speaking at an event to discuss the early signs of dementia.

The event is happening at Metchley Manor Care Home, Edgbaston and will run from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Suzanne is an experienced Dementia specialist. She will be sharing information around the different types of dementia, giving an insight into how to recognise the early signs and most importantly how to respond to them. She will also talk about myth busting and how to share support in a community with no judgement.

A spokesperson for Care UK said: “We’re incredibly excited to be welcoming Care UK’s Head of Nursing, Suzanne Mumford, to Metchley Manor.

“We know that so many people in Edgbaston and the surrounding area will be personally affected by dementia, either with their own diagnosis or from a loved one living with dementia, so we want to do all we can to provide support and information about the condition.”
