Little Hearts Matter, the charity dedicated to supporting children with half a working heart, has appointed two new fundraising managers - Katie Banks and Juliet Hanlon.

Katie will cover the corporate and events sector while Julie will handle the community and appeals sector of the charity.

Katie joins the charity with a wealth of experience in both the charity and business sectors, bringing with her a strong track record in event management, corporate partnerships, and fundraising.

She said: “Having spent the past ten years helping grow a business while collaborating with numerous charities on their services, fundraising, and grant-giving, I am absolutely thrilled to join the Little Hearts Matter team.

“In the short time I’ve been with the charity, I’ve seen firsthand the genuine care and passion it has for the families it supports.

“I’m proud to contribute to the growth and increased awareness of the specialised support Little Hearts Matter provides to its members.”

Katie's self-employed career spans over a decade, during which she has worked with a diverse range of clients, including Creative UK, Core Education Trust, Heart of England Community Foundation, the John Feeney Charitable Trust, and Create Central.

In addition, she is Co-Director of acquismedia Ltd, a Midlands-based production and media company.

Juliet first joined the charity in November 2022, bringing extensive expertise in customer service and relationship management from the business sector.

After taking a career break to raise her three daughters, she transitioned into the charity sector and quickly became an integral part of the Little Hearts Matter community, building strong connections with members and supporters.

Juliet said: "Stepping into the role of fundraising manager for community and appeals is an exciting opportunity to strengthen engagement with our members and their communities.

“Our supporters are the heart of our fundraising efforts, and I’m proud to be part of a charity that values and empowers them. I look forward to driving even greater involvement and making a real impact together."
