St Basils have announced they will be running their Birmingham Canal Ring cycling event, which is the perfect opportunity for cycling enthusiasts to explore the city's hidden gems while supporting a great cause.

Scheduled for Saturday 13 May, the event aims to raise funds for St Basils charity, which provides vital support to young homeless people in the Midlands.

Participants who complete the 36-mile route in approximately 6 hours will receive a limited-edition medal of honour as a symbol of their achievement.

Steve Rainbow events manager for St Basils said: “If you're looking for an adventure that combines history, exercise, and a good cause, the Birmingham Canal Ring cycling event is the perfect choice.

“On May 13th, join other thrill-seekers as you pedal your way through Birmingham's historic canal network, all while raising funds for St Basils charity. Not only will you get to complete a challenging 36-mile route in approximately 6 hours, but you'll also receive a limited-edition medal of honour as a badge of your accomplishment.

“This event wouldn't be possible without the support of our partners, the Canal & River Trust. By participating, you'll be helping St Basils provide support and accommodation to young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. So, what are you waiting for? Hop on your bike and make a real difference in the lives of young people in the Midlands. ”
