HSBC to launch international trade week webinar

HSBC, in partnership with the Department for International Trade (DIT) will be hosting a webinar on international trade.

The webinar is scheduled to be held today at 11 am to 1.30 pm.

It will showcase HSBC 's capabilities in providing support to businesses wishing to expand internationally.

The webinar will talk about how to trade overseas for the first time or enter a new market with a focus on ASEAN countries along with a panel discussion on overcoming international business challenges such as supply chain issues and how to finance international expansion.

The event will be opened by Stuart Tait, Head of CMB, HSBC UK.

Other speakers include;

• Shanella Rajanayagam, trade chief economist
• Suren Thadani, managing director at Interpath Advisory, who has broad experience across shipping and supply chain management
• Panel speakers from UKABC and HSBC Trade Finance
