Incredible season of shows set for the Garrick next year

The Lichfield Garrick Theatre is delighted to showcase the stunning line-up of performances joining their spring/summer 2022 programme.

The arts venue has revelled in being able to welcome back so many patrons since being able to reopen in May 2021 and now their annual #GarrickPanto is back in full swing, with lots more to look forward to this Christmas season.

Now the theatre has added nearly 30 shows to their spring/summer 2022 programme, with lots of star-studded live productions, blockbuster films, and live screened performances from theatres nationwide.

Packed full of famous faces such as Madness frontman Suggs, wildlife filmmaker Gordon Buchanan, and comedy legend Jasper Carrott (to name just a few), this season is one of their biggest yet.

Music, comedy & drama combine in the hotly anticipated The Glee Club, whilst the most scandalous thriller of the year, Dead Lies, will have you on the edge of your seat. Don 't miss Blackeyed Theatre 's spooky retelling of The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll & Mr Hyde, and there 's also an innovative one-man show based on Sherlock Holmes 's trusted sidekick, Watson: The Final Problem.

There 's also plenty for music lovers to enjoy including The Ultimate Boyband Party Show and to Some Guys Have All The Luck - The Rod Stewart Story, The Bob Dylan Story, and Nearly Elton, to name a few.

Families will also love the vast array of offerings for little ones as we bring their favourite books, like The Tiger Who Came to Tea and The Smartest Giant in Town, from the page to the stage. The critically acclaimed Le Navet Bete return with their hilarious retelling of Treasure Island, and there 's also the classic tale of Rapunzel during April half-term.

The #GarrickCinema will be streaming live performances and blockbuster movies once again. With a wide selection of titles including Ron 's Gone Wrong, Leopoldstadt (from the National Theatre), and The Merry Wives of Windsor; there 's something to suit all ages and tastes.

With a busy Christmas season ahead of them with lots of offerings for patrons young and old, including Santa 's Grotto, The Mince Pie Mice (the perfect introduction to theatre for little ones), Apollo Theatre 's A Christmas Carol, and lots of festive cinema including The Nutcracker and Christmas with Andr� , the Lichfield Garrick can 't wait to welcome guests back.
