Influential folk artist to perform at Lichfield venue

Folk singer-songwriter Christie Reeves (pictured) will perform at The Hub at St Mary's in Lichfield on Thursday 10 September at 8pm, with support from Rory Black.

Known for her dynamic voice and acoustic sound influenced by artists including Martin Carthy and Fleet Foxes, Reeves has played festivals such as Moseley Folk & Arts Festival and Dart Music Festival, and is set for a September residency in Rhodes ahead of the release of her debut album, The Sun & Shadows.

She was recently a finalist in The Hub's Songwriting Competition, where she worked with Guy Chambers, who praised her as having "the voice of an angel."

"At a time when arts organisations are facing unprecedented challenges, we're proving that venues like The Hub can still attract world-class talent and create genuinely transformative opportunities for young people."
