Innovation support service launches two new events

Innovate UK EDGE will be providing two exciting new events for businesses in December.

The first event will be taking place at Colmore Row, Birmingham city centre. The Women Entrepreneurs Investment Competition will be for female founded/co-founded businesses looking to secure a 150k SEIS investment prize through a live pitch competition to an investor panel.

The competition will take place on Thursday 1 December from 5:30pm to 9pm.

The second event is part of the EDGE Essentials Breakfast series, the 'Opening doors to big business ' workshop, which will take place on Wednesday 7 December.

Starting at 8:15am with the session beginning at 8:45am, the interactive workshop will enable attendees to learn a tried and tested tool to help gain an understanding of how to greatly improve chances of success when approaching other businesses.

The EDGE Essentials Breakfast series is tailored towards innovative entrepreneurs, business owners or prospective founders seeking to overcome challenges and scale their business. This event is free to attend and welcomes innovative businesses at any stage of their growth journey.
