Insurance brokers strengthen professional risks team
Adler Fairways, a patron of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, has strengthened its Professional Risks team with three new appointments.
Simon Hall, Dan Malcolm and Oliver Steppe have joined the insurance brokers to work alongside Alain Mair, enhancing the professional indemnity and financial lines offering.
These appointments reflect the firm’s ongoing investment in specialist expertise and its commitment to supporting professional firms across Birmingham and the wider region.
Simon Hall joins as client executive, bringing 30 years’ experience in financial lines and general commercial insurance.
He specialises in Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Cyber Liability and Medical Malpractice, and has advised professionals across construction, engineering, technology, financial services, and traditional professions including surveyors and accountants.
Dan Malcolm brings 18 years’ dedicated experience in Professional Indemnity, supporting a wide range of professional services firms.
Dan works closely with clients to address complex insurance challenges, combining sector knowledge with practical, hands-on advice.
Oliver Steppe completes the team, focusing on emerging and complex risks, including technology-driven Professional Indemnity and Cyber Insurance.
With extensive experience placing sophisticated accountancy risks and working with regulatory bodies, Oliver’s role as Client Advisor will help clients navigate fast-evolving, highly technical risk environments with confidence.
