International Women’s Day: Mental health expert speaks to Women across Greater Birmingham Business community
This International Women’s Day, West Midlands leadership expert Jules Mitchell (pictured), founder of The Mental Wealth Revolution, is addressing women across the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce network with a clear message:
“You have built success. Now build the capacity to sustain it.”
Across the region, women are leading firms, managing financial risk, overseeing teams and driving growth.
Many are also navigating significant responsibilities beyond work, parenting, caring for elderly relatives, or coordinating the invisible infrastructure of family life.
According to the Office for National Statistics, women in the UK continue to undertake a significantly greater proportion of unpaid domestic labour and caring responsibilities than men.
When combined with senior professional roles, the cumulative cognitive and emotional demand becomes substantial.
“The issue is not ambition or capability,” says Jules. “It is sustained demand across multiple domains. Many high-performing women are operating in chronic overdrive without recognising the biological cost.”
Through The Mental Wealth Revolution, Jules works with senior women, business owners and leadership teams across the West Midlands to strengthen what she defines as human capacity, the ability to remain clear, grounded and decisive under sustained load.
“This is not about lowering expectations,” Jules explains. “It is about strengthening internal infrastructure, so performance does not come at the expense of health, clarity or longevity.”
For female Chamber members who recognise themselves in the tension between high achievement and high load, the invitation is straightforward:
Contact Jules directly. Whether you are seeking to strengthen your own capacity, support female leaders within your organisation, or embed Human Capacity principles into leadership development strategy, confidential enquiries are welcomed.
Because sustainable excellence is not built by enduring more. It is built by strengthening what carries the pressure.
