Rugeley-based IT support partner Techcare has become a main sponsor of KMC Legal’s Black Tie and Tiara Ball.

The event is taking place on 26 September at Aston Marina, Stone, and aims to raise vital funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the James Bulger Memorial Trust.

Techcare has already completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks in July on behalf of Birmingham Children’s Hospital raising £1.5k.

Oliver Aleksejuk, managing director at Techcare said: “Supporting the James Bulger Memorial Trust and Birmingham Children’s Hospital was an easy decision for us, as both charities do life-changing work for children and families.”

The event will also be attended by local legend and British Soul icon, Beverley Knight.

Beverley has supported previously the James Bulger Memorial Trust and grew up in nearby Wolverhampton.

Adding to the evening’s appeal, guests will enjoy a sparkling drinks reception, a three-course dinner, and opportunities to take part in auctions and raffles, with all proceeds going directly to the chosen charities.

The Black Tie and Tiara Ball has already attracted strong support from businesses across Staffordshire and the West Midlands, highlighting the region’s commitment to community fundraising and the importance of these causes.

Techcare’s involvement reflects the company’s long-standing dedication to giving back to the local community.

Over the past year, the team has taken part in multiple fundraising initiatives, including sponsored walks and charity challenges, while also providing ongoing support to regional charities and non-profit organisations.

Oliver added: “It’s a privilege for Techcare to stand alongside KMC Legal and Quantum Comms Group Limited in supporting an evening that promises not only to raise significant funds but also to shine a light on the incredible work these charities carry out every single day.

“We’re proud to be part of something that will have a real and lasting impact.”

Representatives from Birmingham Children’s Hospital and the James Bulger Memorial Trust will also be present on the night to share more about the vital services they provide and how the donations will directly help children and families in need.
