Job centres gather to host virtual jobs fair

Job centres across South Staffordshire are urging employers to post their upcoming vacancies during a virtual jobs fair, being held next week.

Centres across Cannock, Burton, Swadlincote, Tamworth and Lichfield will be jointly hosting the South Staffordshire Jobs Fair, taking place online, on 27 January from 9am.

As part of the fair, employers will post their vacancies on Twitter using the hashtag #SouthStaffsJobsFair and tagging in the Job Centre in Staffordshire, using the handle @JCPInStaffs.

Tweets will be shared by the job centre, to its 3,000 Twitter followers.

For organisations without a Twitter account, vacancy details can be sent to thomas.parker1@dwp.gsi.gov.uk, which will then be shared via the Job Centre's Twitter account.

The virtual event is being held in association with the Department of Work and Pensions.
