Judging panel announced for Chambers’ awards

The judging panel has been announced for the Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce annual awards.

The awards are taking place at The Belfry Hotel & Resort on Friday 26 January 2024.

Headline sponsors for the event are Amazon, Birmingham City University and South Staffordshire College.

Thirteen awards will be handed out on the night.

Judging the awards categories will be:

  • Aulfat Bi, head of the Capital Allowances and Land Remediation Relief team at specialist property tax consultancy Innovation 4 Business
  • Fajli Bibi, co-founder and president of the Global Centre of Excellence in Sustainability
  • Will Crawford, founder and director of quietnote - a West Midlands-based company which helps people better understand mindfulness all through music
  • Johnathan Dudley, partner and national head of manufacturing at Crowe
  • Ian Dutton, managing director at Birmingham City Football Club
  • Ruth Pipkin, founder of PR agency Rewired and Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce non-executive director

Chair of the judges is the GBCC’s international director Mandy Haque (pictured), who said: “I’m delighted to be chairing a top judging panel of respected and experienced business figures.

“These awards have become an important part of the Chamber calendar over the years and the bar is raised every year in terms of the calibre of entries.

“We look forward reviewing the applications from the array of talented businesses across Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock Chase.”
