Keele University supports Chamber award as sponsor
A major university is backing Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Tamworth and Cannock Chase 2021 annual awards as sponsors.
The Keele University Student Knowledge Exchange Project has chosen to back the awards as sponsors of the Sutton Coldfield Small Business of the Year award.
The accolade is one of eight up for grabs out at the virtual event, being streamed live on 28 January from 7pm.
The organisation is among eight other businesses and organisations backing the awards, including headline sponsor Amazon, award sponsors Select Car Leasing, Inspired Energy, Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, Crown Highways, Hardy Signs, Haines Watts and South Staffordshire College.
Terry Dray, director of employability and employer engagement at Keele University, commented: "We are delighted to sponsor the award for Sutton Coldfield Small Business of the Year. We are focused on supporting businesses in the region and beyond at this challenging time, and at Keele University we are working with the University of Birmingham as our partner to deliver an exciting student knowledge exchange project.
"We are connecting our students to projects and enterprise challenges with businesses via fully funded micro-internships and encouraging more students to start businesses. We would love to have our talented students work with you - for more information contact Nick Muir by emailing [email protected]."
The awards are free to watch. Click here for more details and to register your place at the event.
