Key appointment to lead charity 's innovation strategy

An award-winning education charity has appointed a national director to lead on innovation and strategy as the organisation expands and introduces new services across the UK.

Khadeem Duncan-Banerjee (pictured), from Birmingham, combines his new role as national director of Innovation & Strategy at EmployabilityUK with vice-chair of Nene Education Trust - a multi-academy Trust based in Northamptonshire - and as a director of Music at Handsworth St Mary, Cathedral of the Industrial Revolution.

Khadeem was previously a freelance management consultant specialising in strategy, development and governance for multi-academy trusts, FE providers and charities.

Mr Duncan-Banerjee said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be taking on this new role at a key and exciting stage in our organisations development.

“Over the last seven years we have played a central role in transforming the life chances of thousands of young people, I look forward to working with the CEO, Executive Team and Trustees to grow that impact even further. ”
