Keynote speaker announced for Chamber’s Business Growth Studio conference

The CEO and co-founder of fast-growing gastro pub brand Soho Tavern is set to deliver the second keynote of the upcoming Business Growth Studio conference next month, organised by the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.

Mikey Singh (pictured) will speak about how to set the foundations for growth during the conference, taking place on 13 October at IET Birmingham.

As CEO of the Soho Tavern Group, an award-winning chain of Indian Gastropubs, Mikey is leading the charge on national expansion and driving their vision to become an international brand.

Mikey also serves as the acting director for Khatkar Property Group & Soho Investment Holding Group, overseeing diverse projects in both housing and commercial developments.

The keynote will feature the success story behind Soho Tavern Group, offering practical insight into what it takes to scale a business while staying true to a core identity.

From shaping a clear strategy and managing finances effectively to building a brand that resonates, the session brings real-world lessons to life with honest reflections, actionable advice, and an opportunity to put questions directly to a founder who has successfully navigated rapid growth.

Emily Stubbs, head of policy at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mikey Singh as a keynote speaker for this year’s Business Growth Studio conference. His journey with Soho Tavern Group is a fantastic example of how ambition, clear strategy and a strong brand identity can help a business scale successfully.

“Delegates will hear first-hand insight from a founder who has built a recognisable and fast-growing brand from Birmingham, while staying rooted in the values that made it successful. Mikey’s practical experience will bring real value to businesses looking to set strong foundations for growth, manage expansion and take their next step with confidence.”
