Keynote speaker announced for productivity conference

Jon Gilchrist, chief executive at Birmingham Hippodrome, has been announced as the keynote speaker at this year’s Growth Through People Conference.

The conference is scheduled to be held on 21 March at The Studio, Birmingham from 9 am onwards.

Jon was previously an executive director of HOME, a multi-arts venue in Manchester, and was elected joint president of UK Theatre in 2022.

Growth Through People is a flagship Chamber campaign, which looks to support organisations across the region increase their productivity by employing the latest techniques to getting the most out of employees.

The Growth Through People campaign includes a series of standalone events, digital content and research spanning from March 2024-February 2025, the first time the campaign has operated across the entire year.  This is the fifth annual Growth Through People Conference and will feature a range of high-profile speakers.
