Knowle hosts top tourism spots in the West Midlands

The West Midlands Tourism Awards have awarded two Knowle-based businesses with the accolades of Best B&B and Best Hybrid Retailer of the year.

Receiving the award for Best B&B/ Guest House in the West Midlands was Achill Guest & Spa, located on Hampton Road in Knowle.

Situated in the historical village of Knowle, Achill House & Spa is a family run business established in 1999.

Achill Guest House & Spa pride themselves on being not just a bed and breakfast, but also a charming haven of relaxation and rejuvenation which acts as a sanctuary to many.

Owner Mary Liszewski said: “What an amazing evening, it 's a night I 'll never forget. I 'm so proud of my wonderful team and without them this wouldn 't have been possible. ”

Achill House & Spa have now been automatically entered into the Visit England awards.

Also honoured in the ranks of this year 's Tourism Awards was Loki Wine, who won the award for the the Best UK Hybrid Retailer of the Year awarded by Drinks Retailing.

Loki Wines are celebrating their 10th year in business and have been in Knowle since 2021. At Knowle, you can sample 30 wines by the glass, as well as enjoy an extensive spirits and craft beer menu.

Loki purposefully encourages people to try, sample and discover before purchasing to enjoy inside the relaxed bar, or to take away.
