Knowle’s 750th anniversary gala dinner comes to Hogarth’s this October
Visit Knowle has announced the final event for Knowle’s 750th anniversary celebrations.
An anniversary gala dinner will be held at the renowned Hogarth’s Hotel, on Friday 9 October.
Guests will be treated to a three-course dinner followed by a spectacular evening of live entertainment.
Acclaimed vocalist and pianist Anna Higgins will set the tone with pre-dinner entertainment, before covers band Shed Men Walking (who got everyone dancing at the High Street 750 celebrations) take to the floor to get the party started. DJ Marc Cijfer will then see the night through until midnight.
All profits from the evening will go towards local projects that benefit the village of Knowle, including the much-anticipated 'Welcome to Knowle' sign.
Dave Pinwell, Visit Knowle director, said: “Back in June, we had an incredible day on Knowle High Street celebrating 750 years since Knowle became a manor in its own right, but with this being such a milestone in Knowle's history and the appetite for the community to mark this anniversary has been heartening to see".
Jenna Porch, events director at Visit Knowle, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be hosting the Gala Dinner at Hogarth's - it's a truly fabulous venue and the perfect setting for an evening as special as this.
“After an incredible year of 750th anniversary celebrations, we want to go out in real style, and I know it's going to be a fantastic night.”
Guests are invited to arrive from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Dress code is dress to impress.
