KWB assists construction contractor in new office deal

Construction contractor Buckingham Group Contracting has acquired an office in the Midlands in a deal brokered by property agency KWB.

The company has taken 4,190 sq ft at 2 Stratford Court, Shirley, to facilitate its expanding preconstruction service.

Malcolm Jones of KWB Office Agency brokered the deal on behalf of landlord Wyre Forest District Council, who recently carried out a full refurbishment.

Ian Burford, Group Pre-Construction director at Buckingham Group Contracting, said: “Thanks to KWB for assisting with our latest new office in Solihull. It will accommodate our growing preconstruction team and enable us to expand our employment draw from our traditional base in Stowe. The base will be utilised by all parts of the business for internal and external meetings alike. ”

Comprising three traditional three storey buildings, 2 Stratford Court is in the established commercial area of Cranmore Boulevard, close to Junction 4 of the M42. Solihull town centre and railway station are less than two miles away, and Birmingham City Centre is just 10 miles away.

David Lloyd Fitness Centre, De Vere Village Hotel, shops and restaurants are all within the immediate vicinity.

Existing occupiers at Stratford Court include One MS, Aspen Bridging, SPIE, Babble and Epwin Group.
