Topics covered include:

  • An overview of management systems
  • The purpose of an audit
  • How to approach an audit
  • Maximizing the benefits of monitoring and procedure control
  • How to identify negative trends and rectify them
  • How to identify positive trends and maximize them
  • A practical auditing exercise

The full day course includes a lunch, refreshments and all course materials.

Chamber training manager Leah Quarmby has said: “If you are looking to understand what the purpose of internal audits are and the process used, including best practice, this course would benefit.

“Any industry would find use in the audit process, as it helps provide smoother transactions. The trainer is very knowledgeable and will help each individual adapt the procedures to suit their business”
