Last chance to enter 2024 West Midlands Natural Environment Awards
Businesses are encouraged to enter the West Midlands Combined Authority’s Natural Environment Awards, before the deadline closes on 26 January.
The Natural Environment Awards celebrate the community organisations, educational institutions, public sector bodies and businesses who are providing their communities with new or improved access to nature.
The awards also aim to inspire new projects and increase awareness about the importance of preserving the natural environment. The awards are open to organisations within the seven constituent authorities of the WMCA and applications will close at midnight.
Kuran Singh (pictured), policy advisor at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, commented: “The Natural Environment Awards are a fantastic opportunity for local organisations to highlight the significant work they have put in to support their local communities, providing them with access to nature and green spaces.
“As the deadline fast approaches, I highly encourage those organisations who have made significant advancements in developing their local communities to apply to ensure their work in creating a greener community is recognised.
