Last chance to win thrill-seeking Bear Grylls prize in Chamber survey
Today is the last day to let Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce know how business is going through the Quarterly Business Report survey for Q3.
The report offers an up-to-date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community and is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city-region.
As well as key indicators such as sales, exports, investment intentions and the workforce, the survey is also exploring local firms ' thoughts on sustainability measures and the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Survey data will be collated at a national level and will feed into policy at a national level, reaching institutions such as the Government and the Bank of England.
The Quarterly Business Report is sponsored by Birmingham City University where one lucky respondent will win 4x tickets to the Bear Grylls Adventure Birmingham (terms and conditions apply)
Beth Clewes, insight and intelligence services manager for the GBCC, said: “Please take a few minutes today to fill in our most recent QBR survey if you haven 't already.
“It 's vital for us to be able to assess how local businesses are responding to the challenges they 're currently facing- with energy prices, price pressures and labour shortages being at the forefront of businesses ' minds right now according to the preliminary results
“These findings will form our Quarterly Business Report publication which we use inform decision makers and stakeholders across the region.
“Our findings are also shared with key Government contacts at the Treasury, BEIS and the Bank of England via the British Chambers of Commerce, so your response will have a direct impact on Government policy at the highest level.
“We want to hear from businesses of all sizes, and respondents just need to have an understanding of how their business is performing to take part ”
