Law firm advises on acquisition of luxury country hotel

Leading law firm Freeths has advised on the purchase of Hartsfield Manor, a Victorian luxury hotel, and wedding venue in Surrey. 

The Freeths lawyers advising the buyer included several specialist departments from across the business, notably the Hospitality and leisure sector team as well as real estate, corporate, employment, immigration, tax, commercial, licensing and planning.

Real Estate partner Daniel Abrahams led the transaction alongside Corporate partner Natalie Drought, employment partner Kevin Poulter, data partner Luke Dixon, licensing partner Lisa Gilligan and corporate director Melanie Mapstone and were supported by colleagues from across the business.

These included directors Sean McNulty and Jude Mladek, immigration executive Ashley Stothard, managing associate Emily Gaffney, senior associate Richard Grant, associates Pippa McKernan and Abigail Pinkerton, and legal assistant Henry Dilkes.
