In answer to the widespread need for reliable, informed advice, national law firm Stone King has launched its Registry Training Hub.

This free resource comprises a series of videos, ranging in length from four to ten minutes, which address key topics relevant to parishes within the CofE.

The videos have been designed to provide practical, easy-to-understand advice on a variety of important issues.

Presented by specialists in ecclesiastical matters, the series reflects Stone King’s deep understanding of the legal challenges faced by and within parishes.

Each of Stone King’s Registry Training Hub videos provides viewers with an overview of the topic in question, which is intended to serve as a useful starting point that will contextualise and demystify certain issues and processes.

Church members, churchwardens, and clergy can then decide on their next course of action.

He law firm said in a statement: “Whether you are a churchwarden, a member of the clergy, or a church member within a Church of England parish, your role encompasses many and varied duties that may include some or all of the above, as well as knowledge of faculties, both emergency and not, and how to apply for them.

“Consequently, it will be useful for you to know how the legal support offered by the Diocesan Registry can be of help to you.”

Stone King operates nationally with offices in Bath, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, London and Manchester.

It specialises in the areas of Faith, Charity, Education, Business & Social Enterprise, Private Client, and Public & Regulatory law.

The firm is consistently top-ranked by independent legal guides Chambers and the Legal 500, and has been named a Best Law Firm for 2025 by The Times.
