A leading Midlands law firm is on the hunt for local businesses to lace up their boots and join a charity football tournament this summer.

Davisons Law is hosting a six-a-side competition at Alvechurch FC on 6 July, with 11 teams already signed up and space for five more to complete the line-up.

The tournament aims to raise £2,000 for Cure Leukaemia as part of the firm's Club 10 fundraising initiative, with teams charged £100 to enter the competition.

Gary Davision, managing director at Davisons Law, said: "We're thrilled to be hosting this charity football tournament and are calling on local businesses to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of football for an incredibly worthy cause.

"Cure Leukaemia does vital work supporting patients and funding research, and we're proud to be supporting them through our Club 10 fundraising activities. The tournament is just one of several charity events we're organising this year, including a tennis tournament and the Wolf Run with around 30 of our staff participating."

The tournament will feature squads of up to 10 players competing in six-a-side matches, with a raffle to be held after the final whistle to boost the fundraising total.

Alvechurch FC, based just south of Birmingham, will provide the perfect venue for the competition, with professional facilities and a welcoming clubhouse for post-match refreshments.

The event is part of a busy summer of charity activities for Davisons Law, which also includes staff members taking part in the London-Paris bike ride and the Wolf Run obstacle course challenge.

Teams interested in participating are encouraged to contact Davisons Law HERE as soon as possible to secure their place in the tournament, with only eight spaces remaining.
