Law firm takes on new PR agency to help raise profile
Ansons Law, a legal firm, has hired SE Consulting to provide media support as the firm continues to grow.
Ansons is an independent, Legal 500-ranked firm with four Midlands offices, advising businesses on corporate and commercial matters, commercial property, disputes and employment, as well as individuals and families on wills, trusts and probate, residential conveyancing, family law and employment issues.
The Cannock-headquartered law firm is a member of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce, while SE Consulting is a member of the Solihull Chamber.
Martin De Ridder (pictured), solicitor and managing director of Ansons Law, said: “We already have an established marketing programme, including Google Ads, blogs and our Legally Sound podcast, which we use to get the Ansons brand out there.
“But after seeing first-hand how engaging with the news media can bolster our marketing efforts, we realised PR was the missing piece in our publicity jigsaw, so we’ve now retained Simon Evans at SE Consulting to provide media support.
“With ambitious growth plans, building on the success of our Dudley office and opening at least one new office in the region in the coming months, I hope you’ll be reading and hearing all about it in the regional, trade and national media.”
Simon Evans, founder of SE Consulting, said: “With its bold ambitions to grow, together with a healthy appetite for trying new ideas, Ansons Law is exactly the kind of client I want to support.
“My plan is to dig out newsworthy stories from across Ansons’ various departments and geographical sites to help augment its well-established marketing and advertising programme, led by marketing chief Gav Scothorn.
“Many law firms are busy delivering for clients and doing great work, but the world never gets to hear about it. That’s where PR can add useful third-party credibility to firms’ existing marketing endeavours.”
