Leader of Solihull council among key speakers at Solihull Economic Snapshot
Cllr Karen Grinsell, leader of Solihull Council, will be among the key speakers at next month’s Doing Business in Solihull - Economic Snapshot, organised by Solihull Chamber of Commerce.
Cllr Grinsell has been a prominent figure in the Solihull borough for over 13 years, representing the Shirley East Ward.
She is the first woman to lead the council and has been actively involved in various initiatives including the campaign to restore the minor injuries unit at Solihull Hospital and securing new zebra crossings for road safety.
Taking place on 26 March from 9am to 10.30am at Cranmore Park, the session will provide insight into the current performance of Solihull and the outlook for the wider West Midlands region.
Cllr Karen Grinsell (pictured) said: "I’m looking forward to joining this year’s Economic Snapshot event hosted by the Chamber.
“Solihull’s strategic location, strong infrastructure and highly skilled, ambitious workforce make it an ideal place for businesses to innovate, grow and succeed.
“We’ve recently been recognised as one of the UK’s top ten locations for high‑growth business potential, underlining the momentum we are building here in Solihull.
“This event is an important opportunity to take stock and explore how we can work together to maximise existing opportunity, support further economic growth and make the strategic investments that will unlock even more prosperity across the borough”.
